THE FOUNDER'S SEAT

I’m Charmaine Bryant, the woman who set the table.

I didn’t create The Black Man’s Table because I believe I know what it means to be a Black man.

I created it because I believe Black men deserve a place where they can be seen, heard, supported, represented, and free to have honest conversations about the things that matter to them.

So I set the table.

I pulled up the chairs.

And I left room for Black men to bring their own stories, experiences, questions, laughter, struggles, opinions, and truth.

This is their table. I’m simply the woman who set it.

Pull up a chair. There’s room for you here.
